Upper GI Endoscopy

Upper GI Endoscopy

Upper GI endoscopy (EGD) allows direct visualization of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum using a thin, flexible camera. It is the gold standard for diagnosing conditions like GERD, ulcers, gastritis, Barrett's esophagus, and upper GI bleeding.

Dr. Kishore performs both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including biopsies, polypectomy, variceal banding, and foreign body removal — all through the endoscope without any incisions.

Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy Screening

Colonoscopy is the most effective method for colorectal cancer screening and prevention. Dr. Kishore uses high-definition colonoscopes with narrow-band imaging (NBI) to detect and remove precancerous polyps during the same procedure.

Current guidelines recommend screening from age 45 for average-risk individuals. If you have a family history of colon cancer or digestive symptoms, earlier screening may be advised.
